Research

I am a transportation engineering researcher specializing in traffic safety and transportation planning. My research is multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary, addressing a broad range of transportation challenges through advanced statistical modeling, machine learning and deep learning, and GeoAI/GIS applications. I integrate transportation engineering with data science and emerging computational approaches to uncover patterns in complex transportation data, better understand transportation systems and human behavior, improve safety, and support evidence-based transportation planning and decision-making.
